I think there are some rumors that there will be a premier on September 5, but I think nothing has been confirmed yet.

If it would be her private email I wouldn’t write her. It would be too awkward and a violation of her privacy. But if she had a public address, mmh idk, I guess there’s soo much I’d like to tell her, but then I would think that she gets these kinds of messages all the time and end up not doing it. Quite a while back I saw a picture of Meryl holding a new Baby in what looked like a Hospital Bed that people were saying was a personal picture featured at the start of one of her movies. Do you know the picture I am talking about please?
The movie was ‘Music of the Heart’, and there were several personal pictures of Meryl and her family (Grace was photographed as young Roberta). Meryl did this several times, like in Postcards and Before & After and One True Thing.

They all have some interesting also false information so I can’t really recommend one. As for this new book ‘The Meryl Streep Movie Club’ (I’m still wondering if she got that name from our movie club at the forum ?!? ;) ) - that’s not a biography, it’s fiction. If I remember right it’s about some women getting together to watch some of Meryl’s movies and talking about relationships or something like that.

I've seen a lot of people post things about Meryl's body. In my opinion, some people take it too far, but it's their right to say what they will. I mostly feel that a lot of what is said is mainly out of fun. I'd rather read those types of posts than sit here and read rude things about her. I don't think your reply to the one anon was homophobic at all. I think maybe the other anon took it the wrong way.
Sorry, all these anons are confusing me right now ;) I can only repeat myself. Everyone can post whatever they want, I don’t have to like it. That’s how easy it is. Someone asked me a question and I told you my opinion - why should I lie? There’s no need to. If I offended someone with my opinion - sorry - but a lot has changed in the ‘Streeper world’ - and not always in a good way imo. But again that’s my opinion.
There's no need to imply that everyone who desires Meryl is going through a childish phase. I'm in my mid 20s & I have sexual feelings for her -- b/c I'm a lesbian. I also feel great affection & respect for the woman b/c of who she is as a person, so my attraction is hardly shallow. The anon who has a problem with those of us who delight in Meryl's exquisite breasts sounds like a prude. We treat Meryl like a "porn star"?! GIVE ME A BREAK. The condescension in your reply seemed homophobic to me.
And here we go. I knew this was coming. First of all why ‘anonymous’? I expressed my opinion and you obviously have a different one, fine with me, I have no problem with that. Before I got this question I never said anything about this topic because like I said - each to their own! Accusing me of being homophobic is a whole different story! You don’t know me and have no idea what I am like. Some of my best friends are gay, some of my coworkers are gay and it is absolutely okay, it’s not even a thing I think about because it’s normal to me - so your accusation is absolutely wrong.
But I still think that some posts about Meryl are a little bit over the top, I don’t care if they come from a heterosexual or homosexual person. I would never think about making such posts about Meryl or about men that I think are hot. But again, that is my opinion. I expressed mine and I respect yours. That’s it.

Don’t expect too much! Well I know which story you mean, and I can hear her tell that story, but the interview just won’t come to my mind. Ugh, must be the age ;) Anyway, I remember that she mentioned this story in her Lincoln Center acceptance speech. But I’ll keep this in mind, or perhaps someone else can help out and post the link…

Ugh, that’s a tough topic. I know what you’re talking about. But I don’t really know what to say. The scene and tumblr have changed a lot during the last few years. I guess it’s some kind of age thing, you know, growing up, finding out who you are, what you like, what you want, idk. It’s not really my kind of thing. I guess there comes that age thing back in. I always think about what Meryl would think about certain things or what I would think if someone would say such things about my mom, and that’s what I try to keep in mind when I post stuff. Of course, for her age she definitely has an amazing body, and I admire her for that, but that’s not all. Oh gosh, what am I saying? Anyway, I’m not here to tell people what to do. Each to their own.

I have no idea what you’re talking about. But I think this will never happen. Meryl once said that she was always too nervous to even present an award at the Oscars. We now know that she eventually did that, but hosting this show is something else. I just can’t see her doing that.

Well, I can’t tell you an exact date. It grew with time. It started when I first watched The Bridges of Madison County (late 90s or something like that), then I got some of her films on VHS and watched more and more of her. In the 00s I started to check SimplyStreep on a regular basis and as the interviews and informations got more and more I got really interested and wanted to read, watch or listen to everything I could find about her. I guess her personality made me become the fan I am today. I guess that’s my story…
